Warranty policy

Last Updated: September 16, 2026

At Sky Jeweller, we want you to enjoy your jewellery with confidence. Every eligible product purchased from our official website is covered by a 3-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the terms below.

This warranty is provided in addition to any rights you may have under applicable law.

1. Warranty Period

The warranty is valid for 3 months from the date the order is delivered to the customer.

The warranty applies only to the product purchased from Sky Jeweller and does not automatically transfer to another person.

The warranty period does not restart or extend because a product is repaired, replaced, exchanged, or inspected.

2. What the Warranty Covers

The warranty covers genuine manufacturing or workmanship defects that occur under normal use.

Examples may include:

  • Defects in manufacturing or workmanship present in the jewellery.

  • A jewellery component becoming detached due to a manufacturing defect.

  • A clasp, hook, or similar component failing due to a manufacturing defect.

  • Structural defects that occur during normal use and are determined by Sky Jeweller to be manufacturing-related.

  • Other defects that, after inspection, are reasonably determined to have resulted from manufacturing or workmanship.

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification by Sky Jeweller.

3. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Scratches, dents, bends, or deformation.

  • Accidental damage, dropping, crushing, or impact.

  • Improper handling, storage, or use.

  • Exposure to perfumes, deodorants, cosmetics, sanitizers, chemicals, chlorine, cleaning agents, or other corrosive substances.

  • Exposure to excessive moisture, including swimming, bathing, or prolonged contact with water.

  • Tarnishing, oxidation, or natural colour changes of silver.

  • Damage caused by failure to follow the jewellery care instructions.

  • Loss or damage caused by misuse or negligence.

  • Damage caused by attempting to repair, resize, modify, polish, alter, or otherwise change the product.

  • Repairs or modifications performed by any third party.

  • Lost jewellery or jewellery that cannot be returned for inspection.

  • Lost stones or components where the loss is caused by accidental damage, impact, misuse, or normal wear.

  • Damage caused by pulling, twisting, stretching, or excessive force.

  • Damage caused by improper sizing or wearing the jewellery in unsuitable conditions.

  • Any damage that occurs after the warranty period has expired.

Tarnishing of silver is not considered a manufacturing defect. Silver may naturally tarnish or change colour due to exposure to air, moisture, sweat, chemicals, cosmetics, and other environmental factors.

4. Plating and Finish

If a product contains a plated or surface finish, gradual fading, wearing, or change in the finish due to normal use is considered normal wear and is not covered by this warranty, unless the issue is determined to be a manufacturing defect.

The warranty does not guarantee that the original finish will remain unchanged throughout the warranty period.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, contact Sky Jeweller through our official customer support channel within the warranty period.

You may be required to provide:

  • Order number.

  • Name and contact details used for the order.

  • Clear photographs and/or videos of the issue.

  • A description of the problem.

  • Additional information reasonably required to verify the purchase and claim.

Sky Jeweller may request the product to be returned for physical inspection.

A warranty claim is not considered approved merely because a customer submits a claim. The product must be inspected and the issue must be determined to fall within the scope of this warranty.

6. Product Inspection

Sky Jeweller reserves the right to inspect the product before approving or rejecting a warranty claim.

Our decision will be based on the condition of the product, available evidence, order records, photographs/videos, and, where necessary, physical inspection.

If inspection determines that the issue resulted from accidental damage, misuse, normal wear and tear, improper care, third-party modification, or another excluded cause, the claim may be rejected.

7. Warranty Resolution

If a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed, Sky Jeweller may, at its reasonable discretion:

  • Repair the product;

  • Replace the affected component;

  • Replace the product with the same or a comparable product, subject to availability; or

  • Provide another appropriate resolution where repair or replacement is not reasonably possible.

A warranty claim does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

Where repair or replacement is not reasonably possible, Sky Jeweller will determine the appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law.

8. Shipping for Warranty Claims

If a warranty claim is approved, Sky Jeweller will communicate the applicable return and shipping procedure to the customer.

Customers should not send products to Sky Jeweller without receiving return instructions from our customer support team.

Sky Jeweller is not responsible for products sent without prior authorization or through an unapproved shipping method.

Where a claim is rejected because the issue is outside the warranty, any applicable return shipping, inspection, repair, or other service charges may be payable by the customer.

9. Proof of Purchase

A valid Sky Jeweller order record is required for warranty service.

The warranty does not apply to products that cannot reasonably be verified as having been purchased from Sky Jeweller.

Resold, transferred, gifted, or second-hand products may require additional verification before warranty service is considered.

10. One Product, One Warranty Period

The warranty period begins from the original delivery date.

A repair, replacement, exchange, or replacement component does not create a new 3-month warranty period unless required by applicable law.

The original warranty expiry date will continue to apply.

11. Warranty Abuse and Fraudulent Claims

Sky Jeweller reserves the right to reject claims where there is reasonable evidence of:

  • False or misleading information.

  • Deliberate damage.

  • Unauthorized alteration or repair.

  • Repeated misuse of the warranty process.

  • Submission of a product that does not match the original order.

  • Submission of a product purchased from another seller.

  • Any attempt to obtain an unauthorized replacement, refund, repair, or other benefit.

Where necessary, Sky Jeweller may retain relevant order, communication, inspection, and transaction records for legitimate business, legal, security, and dispute-resolution purposes.

12. Warranty Does Not Replace Return Policy

This warranty is separate from our Return & Refund Policy.

The warranty covers qualifying manufacturing defects during the warranty period. It does not extend or restart the return or exchange period.

A product that is outside the applicable return period may still qualify for warranty service if the issue is a covered manufacturing defect.

Similarly, a product that is within the return period is still subject to the conditions of our Return & Refund Policy.

13. Changes to the Warranty Policy

Sky Jeweller may update this Warranty Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.

The warranty terms applicable to an order will be determined based on the policy applicable at the time of that purchase, subject to applicable law.

14. Contact Us

For warranty-related questions or to submit a warranty claim, please contact Sky Jeweller through our official customer support channels.
